For Janine Browne, founder of The Black Dog Project and owner of Browne Ink Studio, her connection to the community is as vital as her Melville home.
“Our house is small, but the front lawn is so big that our son used to go-cart around the house when he was little, and all of the kids on the street would play or run through the sprinklers in summer,” says Browne. “We love the neighbourhood and sense of community.”
